I have to start outlining and prepping ’special features’ content for the inevitable release of “Broken Hearts Club” on DVD. With the holiday season rapidly approaching I have an opportunity to reach a tremendous amount of people within the last few months of the year.
I’m deciding about what to include on the DVD. I’m also deciding if I should include a two-disk DVD. Here are some other thoughts:
- Since the film typically receives lots of comments about the casting so I think a featurette about how the film was cast might be a good thing to include. There’s quite a few stories to tell.
- I’ve also been asked many times about the writing and dialog. I think this is tied to the performances and the casting.
- A featurette about low-budget techniques employed in the film is most certainly required
- Director’s Commentary??
- Bloopers?? (I’m not sure if there are that many)
- What do you think?

The Broken Hearts Club. There’s nothing like it in theaters or television, or even on the web. I’m wondering what YOU think about me launching BHC as a web series but cutting the feature film into episodes and then starting an all-new season with new patients.

Here is the email I received after the screening of my film in Celle Ligure, Italy
Hi Angelo,
As I previously wrote, the screening was a success. The theatee was full and I was very surprised. You should know that here in Italy the public is not use to seeing a movie in its original language with subtitles because, generally all films are translated and dubbed. Therefore I can say that the screening was a double success! Moreover I received request to see the movie again. I thank you for your great collaboration and I will sure we speak again soon.

- August 17th in LOS ANGELES at the Bungalow Club;
- August 27th in CELLE LIGURE, ITALY at the International Festival of the Independent Cinema;
- September 5th in Notting Hill in the UK at the Portobello Film Festival.
